Garrettsville Planning Commission Minutes
November 1, 2007
The Planning Commission
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Hadzinsky, with, Jeff Kaiser, Jerry
Kehoe, Don Harvey,
After the Pledge of
Allegiance, Chairman Steve Hadzinsky requested a motion to approve the minutes
of October 4, 2007; there was no discussion.
The minutes were approved when Mayor Moser motioned and Jeff Kaiser seconded
the motion.
Vote: Ayes – Unanimous
Mr. Dave Harrington was in
attendance to discuss the dedication of Riverview and Eagle Creek Drives in The
Reserves at Eagle Creek development.
After discussion of the roads top coats, and maintenance bond between
the developer and Village, a motion was introduced by Mayor Moser to formally
approve the dedication of Eagle Creek and River View Drives soon after a letter
of notification arrives to the Village Council of a bond being in place. This notification would begin the allotted one
year time frame after which the roads would become the Villages property and
responsibility. This motion was seconded
by Jeff Kaiser.
Vote: Ayes – Unanimous
A discussion regarding the
status of Mr. Rob Warren’s Site Plan and Change in Use Permit for the property
at 8454 Windham Street commenced. Mayor
Moser stated Mr. Warren was in the Zoning Office this evening regarding the
above matter; the Zoning Inspector stated both issues with the addition of an application
for a sign permit will be on the agenda for the following meeting.
With the call for further
discussions of the Community Block Grant, there was nothing new to report at
this time. It was affirmed the Planning
Commission did not wish to loose site of the possibilities and the Planning
Commission would be the appropriate body to oversee monies involved. It was also discussed,
any activity would be approved by state authorities and approved by Council.
The joint economic agreement
with
Mr. Leet would be happy to
talk to Garrettsville regarding the above issue.
Chairman Steve Hadzinsky
called for a motion for an adjournment.
Jerry Kehoe motioned for an adjournment and Mayor Moser seconded the
motion.
