PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Public Hearing was called to order by Bob Matson with Teri Eiermann, Jeff Kaiser, Rick Patrick, Chuck Klamer, Mayor Craig Moser, Solicitor Mark Manlove, Clerk Nancy Baldwin, and Chris Morris. (Karen Clyde was absent.)
Ordinance 2008-36, An ordinance amending the zoning of 10313 South Street and the vacant lot to the north thereof consisting of approximately 11.205 acres from R-2 to C-2 and amending the zoning map of the Village of Garrettsville to reflect this change.
Chris Morris from Zupancic Drive was present to discuss the zoning change. She was concerned about the traffic. She felt that having a medical facility would bring the value of the homes down in the adjacent area.
Ordinance 2008-37, An ordinance amending Section 923.09(b)(9) of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Garrettsville to reduce the 35,000-gallon per quarter limit for when a surcharge fee is applied effective January 1, 2009.
